About This Position

Vehicles for Change provides paid automotive repair training and job placement for people with criminal backgrounds, including sex offense registrants. The training program teaches automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. Graduates earn certifications and are placed with automotive employers across Maryland.

Requirements

Must be 18+. Interest in automotive repair. Willingness to complete training program. All backgrounds accepted including sex offense registrants.

Benefits

Maryland requires all registrants to report employment address changes within 3 days. Tier III registrants face 1,000 ft employment proximity restrictions from schools and child-care facilities.
